FixRight — Customer Terms of Service (Homeowners & Property Managers)
Version 1.0 · Effective: September 15, 2026
Brand: FixRight · fixright.io · hello@fixright.io
Hours: Available 24/7 — FixRight takes requests any time. Pros set their own availability. Preferred start 6:00 PM–5:59 AM: after-hours premium $150 ($120 pro · $30 FixRight), stated before you accept.
Service area: Cities and regions selected by pros (starting with Las Vegas & Henderson, Nevada; expandable multi-metro)
Operator: FixRight, operating brand of Prime Tech Associates
These Terms govern your use of FixRight’s website, booking channels, and referral/dispatch services. By booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who FixRight is — and is not
- FixRight connects you with licensed, insured plumbers. FixRight provides referral, dispatch coordination, price-band communication from the plumber’s agreed rate card, photo-verification workflows, and a dispatch/service-standard guarantee described in the Guarantee exhibit.
- The licensed plumber is the contractor of record. Plumbing construction, alteration, and repair work is performed under a contract between you and the plumber. The plumber’s Nevada license number appears on job confirmations.
- FixRight is not your plumbing contractor and does not provide a FixRight construction warranty. Advertising and these Terms are intended to reflect Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) expectations for referral platforms.
2. Booking and service area
- You may book via fixright.io, phone/text at hello@fixright.io, or other channels we designate.
- Provide accurate name, phone, email, service address, city, issue description, urgency, access notes, and optional photo URL.
- Service is focused on areas where vetted pros are available (starting with Las Vegas and Henderson and expanding). We may decline jobs outside covered areas or outside trade scope.
- Within about fifteen minutes when capacity and a matching available pro exist, we aim to text: pro name, license number, rate-card price band, any after-hours premium ($150 when applicable), and arrival window.
3. Pricing bands and changes
- Prices are set/quoted by the plumber from a published rate card the plumber has agreed to. FixRight communicates the band; FixRight does not set price as the contractor.
- If the job is outside the quoted band, work stops until you approve a new band in writing (text/email OK).
- After-hours / overnight (preferred start 6:00 PM–5:59 AM): flat $150 premium ($120 to the pro · $30 to FixRight), stated up front before you approve. Labor band stays separate (15% platform referral on labor only).
- Parts upgrades, camera inspection, permits, and water-heater replacement may be quoted separately as noted on the rate card.
4. Payment
- Preferred: Payment via Stripe Connect (or similar) so funds settle to the plumber; FixRight’s referral/platform fee is handled between FixRight and the plumber.
- Alternate arrangements (e.g., plumber invoices you directly; PM master vendor setup) may apply.
- Residential customers may see a modest dispatch fee (e.g., $19) unless waived under a property-manager retainer or promotion.
- You authorize charges for the approved band (and written change orders). Failed payments may suspend future bookings.
5. Deposits — NSCB note (placeholder for counsel)
- [COUNSEL PLACEHOLDER — NSCB RESIDENTIAL DOWN PAYMENT]
Nevada residential improvement rules generally limit contractor down payments to $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. Under Option A, deposits—if any—should be structured so the contractor of record (plumber) and/or any platform authorization hold complies with NSCB requirements.
- Until counsel finalizes deposit language: FixRight will not collect construction down payments as if FixRight were the contracting plumber. Any pre-authorization should be clearly labeled and limited.
- Water heater replacements and large jobs require written approval and permits where required before proceeding.
6. Access, safety, and your responsibilities
- Provide safe access, truthful issue descriptions, and required gate/lockbox codes.
- Shut off water when safely possible in active leak emergencies; call 911 for life-safety events.
- You are responsible for HOA/building permissions and owner authorizations (especially PMs and STR hosts).
7. Photos, verification, and communications
- Plumbers submit before/after photos; you may be asked to sign off on completion via phone link.
- You consent to SMS/email about scheduling, arrival, callbacks, and service quality. Message/data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of marketing (transactional service texts may still be needed for an active job).
- See Privacy Policy for data practices.
8. Callbacks and FixRight Guarantee
- Covered workmanship callbacks are governed by the Guarantee and Callback exhibit (
03-GUARANTEE-AND-CALLBACK.md). - In summary: if the same problem returns within 30 days due to workmanship, the plumber returns at no labor charge; if they cannot, FixRight dispatches another plumber and waives FixRight’s dispatch fee; plumbers who do not honor obligations are removed.
- Not covered: pre-existing conditions, DIY attempts, issues outside the original job scope, misuse, Acts of God, and third-party damage.
- This is a service-standard / dispatch commitment by FixRight, not a FixRight construction warranty.
9. Property managers, HOAs, and STR hosts
- If you book as agent for an owner, you represent you are authorized to request service and approve price bands.
- Retainer plans (priority dispatch, reporting, waived dispatch fees) are separate written terms if offered.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- Plumbing work is performed by independent licensed plumbers. FixRight does not control day-to-day means and methods on site.
- To the maximum extent permitted by Nevada law, FixRight is not liable for plumber workmanship, latent plumbing conditions, mold, secondary water damage beyond our dispatch role, or consequential damages.
- FixRight’s aggregate liability for claims arising from platform services is limited to fees you paid to FixRight for the job at issue (e.g., dispatch fee), except where limitation is prohibited.
- Counsel to conform disclaimers to Nevada consumer law.
11. Disputes
- Contact us first at hello@fixright.io or book@fixright.io to resolve issues quickly.
- Governing law: Nevada. Venue: Clark County, Nevada state courts, unless counsel inserts arbitration/small-claims carve-outs.
- Informal negotiation period: 30 days before filing, except for injunctive relief or nonpayment.
12. Changes; contact
- We may update these Terms; material changes posted on fixright.io with updated date. Continued booking after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted.

Version 1.0 · Effective September 15, 2026
After-hours / overnight requests
- Window: Any request whose preferred start is 6:00 PM through 5:59 AM local time is an after-hours / emergency request.
- Customer premium: Flat $150 platform-wide, stated before the customer accepts, charged on top of the pro’s price band.
- Split of the $150: $120 to the pro who accepts and performs the job (extra pay for after-hours); $30 to FixRight for after-hours coordination / dispatch.
- Labor: Unchanged — pro sets the price band; FixRight’s referral fee is 15% of labor only; pro keeps 85% of labor. The $120 premium is paid in addition to the labor payout and is not reduced by the 15%.
- Intake: FixRight accepts requests 24/7. Pros set personal availability; overnight jobs carry the $150 premium when the preferred window is after 6:00 PM.
