This is what you can expect on every job booked through FixRight. It describes FixRight's own commitments as a referral and dispatch platform and the commitments every Service Professional on the platform has agreed to.
3.1 Our seven commitments
1. Licensed and insured, checked monthly. Every Service Professional in a licensed trade holds an active Nevada State Contractors Board license in the right classification and carries liability insurance. We verify both before their first job and every month after. Their license number is on your confirmation and your receipt, and you can verify it yourself at nvcontractorsboard.com.
2. Your Price Band before anyone rolls out. Before dispatch you see the Service Professional's Price Band for the issue you described. It is their price, from their published rate card.
3. Nothing outside the band without your written OK. If the job turns out to be different, the Service Professional stops and sends you a revised Price Band with a reason. You approve or decline in the app. If you decline, you owe only the diagnostic charge.
4. A two-hour arrival window. You get a two-hour window. If your Service Professional can't make it, you get a revised window before the original one opens — or you owe nothing.
5. Verified arrival. You hold a four-digit Arrival PIN. Your Service Professional can't start the job until you hand it to them in person.
6. Photos and your sign-off. Before-and-after photos and your electronic sign-off are recorded on every job. You pay nothing until the work is done and you sign off — no deposits, ever.
7. Callback Commitment. Every Service Professional warrants their workmanship for at least 30 days. If the same issue comes back within 30 days because of workmanship, tell us. We coordinate the Service Professional's return at no labor charge to you. If they can't return within two business days, we dispatch another Service Professional and waive our Service Fee. A Service Professional who does not honor their warranty is removed from FixRight.
3.2 What is not covered
Pre-existing damage; prior do-it-yourself repairs; issues outside the original job; damage caused by others after the work; and parts covered only by a manufacturer's warranty. FixRight is a dispatch platform. It does not perform, contract for, or warrant repair work; its commitments are the platform services and fee waivers described above. The Service Professional is the contractor of record on every job.
3.3 How to use the Callback Commitment
Open your job in the app and tap Request Callback, or use the Report a Problem form. Add a photo if you can. We respond within one business day.
