Exhibit to: Plumber Platform Agreement & Customer Terms
Model: Option A — referral/dispatch; licensed plumber is contractor of record
Publishable guarantee (website / confirmation language)
Service Standard & Callback Commitment
- Licensed and insured, checked monthly.
- Your price band before anyone rolls out — the pro’s price, from their published rate card.
- Nothing outside the band without your written OK.
- A two-hour arrival window, or notice before it opens — or your booking fee back.
- Photos and your sign-off on every job.
- A 30-day workmanship warranty from the pro.
- Callback Commitment: if the same issue returns within 30 days because of workmanship, tell us; we coordinate the pro’s return at no labor charge; if they can’t return within 2 business days, we dispatch another pro and waive our booking fee; a pro who does not honor their warranty is removed from FixRight.
What this is not: FixRight does not perform or warrant the work; our commitments are these platform services and fee waivers. Not covered: pre-existing damage, DIY attempts, issues outside the original job, damage caused by others afterward.
FixRight is a referral and dispatch platform. The licensed pro is the contractor of record. When charged (after billing launches), the $19 dispatch fee is a FixRight fee — not a deposit on the work. Soft launch: no online fee collection.
1. Purpose of this exhibit
This exhibit defines what FixRight promises as a platform service standard and what the plumber owes as workmanship to the customer. It is designed so FixRight does not hold itself out as warranting construction as the contracting plumber.
2. Definitions
Term — Meaning
**Covered callback** — Return visit needed within **30 days** of completion because the **same problem** addressed in the original FixRight-referred job recurred due to **defective workmanship** (not a new/unrelated issue)
**Completion** — Customer sign-off, or plumber completion notice accepted by FixRight’s process
**Dispatch fee** — Any FixRight customer-facing daytime dispatch/coordination fee for that job (e.g., residential $19), if charged. Separate from the after-hours premium ($150: $120 pro · $30 FixRight) when preferred start is 6:00 PM–5:59 AM.
**Labor charge** — Plumber’s labor to re-perform covered workmanship remediation
3. Plumber obligations
- Plumber warrants workmanship on FixRight-referred jobs and will perform covered callbacks at no labor charge.
- Reasonable parts necessary solely to correct Plumber’s defective workmanship are Plumber’s responsibility unless the original job excluded parts or counsel revises this rule.
- Plumber will coordinate scheduling within Plumber’s stated availability. FixRight intake is 24/7; overnight / emergency callbacks carry the platform after-hours premium ($150: $120 pro · $30 FixRight) when preferred start is 6:00 PM–5:59 AM.
- Refusal to honor a bona fide covered callback is grounds for immediate removal from the FixRight bench.
4. FixRight obligations (service standard — not construction warranty)
- FixRight will receive and triage callback reports (including day-3 “everything still holding?” outreach when enabled).
- FixRight will use commercially reasonable efforts to dispatch the original plumber or, if unavailable/unwilling, another vetted licensed plumber.
- For covered callbacks, FixRight will waive its dispatch fee for the callback visit.
- FixRight may offer a goodwill credit from FixRight’s own referral fee in limited cases; any such credit is discretionary and not an admission of construction liability.
- FixRight will remove plumbers who do not honor workmanship obligations.
- FixRight does not promise to rebuild, remodel, or assume the plumber’s construction warranty as GC.
5. Exclusions (not covered)
- Pre-existing conditions not caused by the plumber’s work
- DIY or third-party work after completion
- Issues outside the original job scope
- Customer misuse, neglect, or failure to follow shutoff/care instructions
- Acts of God, main-line municipal failures, slab/soil movement, hard-water mineral realities beyond workmanship
- Cosmetic preferences unrelated to failure of the repair
- Jobs where customer refused recommended necessary work documented in writing
6. How to open a callback
- Email book@fixright.io or message in the app or email book@fixright.io within 30 days of completion.
- Provide address, job date, description of recurrence, and a photo if possible.
- FixRight opens a callback ticket and aims to respond within one hour (24/7 intake; response may depend on pro availability for overnight).
7. Advertising reminder
Allowed framing: “FixRight stands behind dispatch and service standards” / “we make sure a licensed plumber comes back.”
Forbidden framing: “FixRight warrants your plumbing installation as your contractor” / “FixRight’s construction warranty.”

After-hours / overnight requests
- Window: Any request whose preferred start is 6:00 PM through 5:59 AM local time is an after-hours / emergency request.
- Customer premium: Flat $150 platform-wide, stated before the customer accepts, charged on top of the pro’s price band.
- Split of the $150: $120 to the pro who accepts and performs the job (extra pay for after-hours); $30 to FixRight for after-hours coordination / dispatch.
- Labor: Unchanged — pro sets the price band; FixRight’s referral fee is 15% of labor only; pro keeps 85% of labor. The $120 premium is paid in addition to the labor payout and is not reduced by the 15%.
- Intake: FixRight accepts requests 24/7. Pros set personal availability; overnight jobs carry the $150 premium when the preferred window is after 6:00 PM.
